Front of House Assistant

We are currently looking to recruit Front of House Assistants to join our amazing team.

 

Bridges Espresso Bar is a modern Espresso Bar situated in the heart of Bedford. Through its commitment to local produce and home cooked food, high standards and passion for customer service, Bridges sets itself apart from other coffee bars you may know.

Bridges is open for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and evening Lite Bites to accompany our drinks selection, offering an extensive selection of fresh food menu catering to our customer’s needs.

 

As part of the Bridges team, you'll be a team player who is reliable, passionate about our guests and be proud of our products. You’ll report to the Manager and play a key part in the smooth running of the business. We want to create a winning team that will deliver the best service and high-quality produce, ensuring our guests return to us day after day and week after week. We have variety of shifts available from 7:30am to 00.30am, 7 days a week. When submitting your application please indicate the hours that you’re available. Please note that due to the nature of the business all applicants should be over the age of 18.

 

Your role as Front of House Assistant:
 

• To deliver a varied drinks menu for our customers with care and style in line with Bridges training and standards

• Deliver the highest standard of service to our guests

• Provide table service to our guests

• Take orders using our ePos system

• Maintain standards of health and safety, and cleanliness at all times

• Communicate clearly with colleagues and customers

• Support management with day to day operations

 

What we are looking for:
 

• Experience in hospitality is essential, though training will be given to all staff

• Someone who is friendly and approachable and passionate about delivering great service

• A motivated team player who can work confidently as part of a team

• A clear communicator who can multitask and works well under pressure

• Someone who has a genuine interest in local produce

• A positive can-do attitude towards all aspects of the role, who is always looking to improve and have a positive response to feedback
